Overview

All Dodge Journey's engines - the 2.4-litre World Engine with dual Variable Valve Timing (VVT) – available with a special order - and the 2.0 DOHC Diesel were designed to deliver.

 

   
Handling

The Journey’s Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) which includes all-speed Traction Control, Brake Assist, Electronic Roll Mitigation, and Trailer Sway Control, assists drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering manoeuvres. ESP works to correct the vehicle’s course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels.


   
Transmissions

The Journey comes with auto transmission and optional manual transmission to suit your needs.

 

 

 

 

   
Engines & MPG

Whether you choose a World Engine with dual Variable Valve Timing (VVT), a fuel-efficient diesel, automatic or manual transaxle, Journey has the power to move you. The spirited 2.4 DOHC I-4 World Engine with VVT produces 168 bhp and 162 lb/ft with a 5-speed manual transaxle (SE model). A 2.0 DOHC I-4 diesel accelerates you with 138 bhp and 229 lb/ft and is offered with either a 6-speed manual or the 6-speed automatic that delivers excellent performance and fuel efficiency with quieter operation.
